On Request Van Delivery

Follow these instructions to set up your on request van delivery.

Call-in Service

To schedule a pick-up of materials call (847) 459-1375; follow voice mail instructions.

Basic Procedures

• Use call-in system only to request pickups.
• Materials arriving at NSLS Delivery Services addressed to on request libraries are delivered automatically.
• On request stops are made for deliveries / pickups no more than twice per week.
  

Using the Service

• Use service for items that cannot be faxed or mailed with first class postage.
• Following the guidelines shown under Member Responsibilities, prepare items for pickup at the designated stop prior to requesting the service. Items must be clearly labeled for proper routing to their destinations.
• Since most of our drivers begin their routes at 5 a.m., you may need to make special arrangements in advance to have items picked up from a secure area if your location will be closed when the driver arrives.
