Delivery Task Force Members and Background

The Delivery Task Force was created by the NSLS Board to review the non-library items we are requested to carry on the van, and based on their review formulate a policy regarding the acceptance of such items for delivery. Task Force members include representatives from the NSLS community:

  • Skip Mosshamer, Chair, NSLS Board;
  • Paul Kaplan, Elk Grove Public Library;
  • Randy Vlcek, Algonquin Area Public Library District;
  • Allen Meyer, Vernon Area Public Library District;
  • Carole Medal, Gail Borden Public Library District;
  • Sarah Long, NSLS;
  • Jan Hayes, NSLS; and
  • Larry Krenos, NSLS.

As a result of the December 14, 2006 meeting, NSLS staff created a draft delivery policy addressing the non-library materials, which will then be reviewed by task force members. Once approved, we will ask for feedback on the policy from our members. Then, in March it will go to the NSLS Board for approval.
