The North Suburban Library System’s (NSLS) Resource Directory provides information about products and services available from reliable sources in the library field.


All companies and organizations listed have either done business with NSLS or have been recommended by NSLS member libraries. A listing in the directory does not imply NSLS endorsement of a company, product, or service. NSLS does not guarantee any service or product provided. Please note the Disclaimer and Guidelines section below for further information.

All vendors and users of the Resource Directory must read, agree to, and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in the Resource Directory Guidelines, including those terms and conditions expressly set out in the guidelines and those incorporated by reference, before you may access the Resource Directory. NSLS may amend these Guidelines at any time by posting the amended terms on this Site. Except as stated below, all amended terms shall automatically be effective 30 days after they are initially posted on the Site. These Guidelines may not be otherwise amended except in writing from NSLS. These Guidelines are effective upon acceptance of registration for newly registering users, and are otherwise effective on May 15, 2005 for all users.


NSLS had the responsibility to operate and administer the Resource Directory and the Resource Directory guidelines, and has the power and discretion to construe those guidelines and to determine all questions arising in connection with the administration, interpretation and application of those guidelines. Any such determination by the System is conclusive and binding on all persons. The System has full authority to establish guidelines and reconcile any inconsistency therein in such manner and to such extent as the System deems necessary or advisable to carry out the purposes of the Resource Directory and that any such procedure, discretionary act, interpretation or construction by the System will be done in a uniform and nondiscriminatory manner.


NSLS's costs in creating, operating, and maintaining this directory are funded through voluntary contributions from the listed vendors.
